Free energy of Tesla
The film is about the life of Nikola Tesla, a Serbian-American inventor, and electrical engineer who is known for his contributions to the development of the modern alternating current (AC) electrical system. In the film, Tesla recounts his early life, including his childhood in Serbia, his dreams of becoming an engineer, and his eventual move to the United States.
After arriving in the US, Tesla began working for Thomas Edison, who was already a well-known inventor at the time. However, Tesla’s ideas for developing AC electricity were at odds with Edison’s preference for direct current (DC) electricity.
Despite this, Tesla continued to work on his own ideas for AC, and eventually developed a motor that could generate this type of electricity.
Edison was initially dismissive of Tesla’s ideas but eventually offered to pay him $50,000 if he could improve on his own DC motors. Tesla worked tirelessly to develop 24 different improved DC motors, but when he presented them to Edison, he was only offered a small increase in his weekly salary.
Disillusioned with Edison and the American business world, Tesla eventually left Edison’s company and went on to develop his own inventions.
The film gives an interesting insight into Tesla’s life and work, and highlights the challenges he faced as an immigrant and as an inventor working in a highly competitive and often cutthroat industry. It also sheds light on the rivalry between Tesla and Edison, and the different approaches they took to developing electrical systems.
