Bronze Age 3 – Conquest and Collapse

Around 1200 BC, the prosperous Bronze Age societies of Italy, Greece, Asia Minor, and Afghanistan suddenly collapsed. This mysterious event brought about the first Dark Ages of humanity, a time of great social upheaval and technological regression.

No one really knows why this happened, but there are many theories. Some scholars believe that natural disasters such as earthquakes or volcanic eruptions caused the collapse. Others think that internal strife or invasion by outsiders led to the downfall of these civilizations.
